Looking for a beta-listener or beta community?
Hello all! I am an extremely new podficcer, and @blackestglass was kind enough to direct me this way. I'm wondering if there's a beta-listener community out there that my google-fu is failing to find, or if there is anyone here who might be interested in lending a critical ear.

I decided to start small with Pilot, a 2.1k crossover/fusion between OMG, Check Please! (gay hockey webcomic) and Welcome to Night Vale (creepy/weird/odd podcast about a small town with odd happenings a la Twin Peaks). I have a draft here, about 18 minutes of recording.

I'm planning on recording another draft so I can be in a room with less background humming, but before I do, I was hoping for some comments about, for example,
1) delivery/acting/timing
2) accent - the narrator is Eric Bittle, small Georgian baker and hockey player. I took on a mild Georgian/Southern USA accent, and I'm wondering if it's okay or too heavy handed, and I probably need to work harder on doing it consistently. Should I keep this accent or give up on it when re-recording?
3) anything else that popped out at you

Any help or directions to help would be greatly appreciated. :D Thank you for your time!

First of all, thanks for introducing me to this excellent crossover, and second of all, I'd love to beta listen this and am downloading it as we speak. How do you want me to give feedback? I have an LJ account but I'm not really on it a lot-- I'm on tumblr and ao3 more under "codeswitch"--but feel free to pm me an email if that works. I also record podfic in both of these fandoms (more in Check Please, but I'm a big Night Vale fan too) and it seems like this fic was meant to be recorded.

Thank you!!! I'm PM-ing you now with my email, since I despise the communication system tumblr uses. :P
